We wish to invite you to be part of our popular Spring Festival for 2011.
Our hard working and enthusiastic organising committee are once again in full swing putting together the program for the town's major event.
Having battled through the weekend last year, in truly testing elements, we are again looking forward to a fun and exciting festival. We understand it is a tough time of year with no guarantees of fine weather, but a lot of thought and "back-up" plans have been implemented and your support would be greatly appreciated to continue its success.
Saturday's program will once again be held mostly in the town's main street (Curdie Street). This will include our famous street parade, street performers, a KidZone fun tent filled with many activities for the young ones as well as many different street stalls.
A children's Art Show (including a photographic competition) and Orchid Show are also part of the day's program.
This year we are thrilled to announce the inclusion of an Antiques Roadshow/Valuations, "Beaut Boot" competition (rubber boots, very appropriate!) Cobden Quilters' exhibition and our historic Heytesbury House is hosting an Open Day.
This bumper of a day will be capped off with our "Big Night Out." Food, music and lots of fun to be had by all at the Cobden Golf Club.
We have had a lot of enquiries from food and general stallholders already and we would love you to be involved. Sites have been made available along the sidewalks once again with the approval from our town traders.
We are determined to make it affordable for all stallholders and have devised the following pricing structure.
